When Allah sent Moses to Pharaoh, he was commanded to call him to worship Allah alone and to free the children of Israel. Pharaoh refused and challenged Moses by calling his top magicians to defeat him in a contest. The sorcerers threw their ropes, which appeared as moving snakes through magic—but Moses threw his staff, and by Allah’s power, it turned into a real snake and swallowed all their illusions.

The sorcerers, upon seeing the truth, immediately believed in Allah, even though Pharaoh threatened them. This shows the power of truth when it touches the heart.

But He also warned that those who disbelieved after witnessing the miracle would face a severe punishment.
